Dot NAME Domain Names

Set up in 2001, the .NAME generic domain name extension is the only one meant for personal web pages only. These domains can consist of personal or fictional names, aliases and/or other labels people are famous by. Initially, just third-level registrations were allowed, so if you planned to obtain john.doe.name, you would have to do that under .doe.name. In 2004, however, the registration procedures were loosened and 2nd-level registrations were also permitted. Already bought 3rd-level names remained working.

Through our firm, you can get your .NAME domain for a time interval between 1 and 10 years. You will have the chance to alter the WHOIS contact information, to park your domain, to create Custom DNS records, etc. You can also transfer an already registered domain to our firm if you obtain its EPP transfer key from the present registrar firm and we will renew it once the transfer has been completed. There are no particular stipulations on who can grab a .NAME domain, but in order to maintain the concept behind its establishment alive, the .NAME Registry organization may check who the Registrant is and if there is no connection between the owner and the actual domain name, the registration might be challenged.
